Stiur Hockey is a free tool that suggests hockey training sessions from a curated drill library. It is provided for adult coaches planning adult sessions. It is provided by Charlie Griffiths, England.
You may use Stiur Hockey for personal and coaching purposes. The drill library and session outputs are for use in training — not for redistribution or resale.
You are responsible for assessing the suitability and safety of any session before running it. This includes: player ability and fitness; any medical considerations; pitch and equipment condition; appropriate supervision; warm-up provision; and ensuring appropriate first-aid cover is in place. You use your own judgement to adapt or reject any suggestion the app makes.
Intended audience. Stiur Hockey is provided for use by adult coaches planning adult training sessions. The drill content has been built and reviewed against England Hockey age-grade guidance for adult (Tier 1) hockey and does not include minor-specific material. Coaches working with youth or junior players are responsible for adapting session content to age-appropriate standards including contact rules, session duration, and any other safeguarding considerations applicable in their jurisdiction. We make no warranty that the content is suitable for use with players under 18. Age-graded content may be added in future releases.
The app and its content are provided as-is. We make no guarantee that sessions are suitable for every group, ability level, or training context. Coaches are responsible for assessing what is appropriate for their players.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charlie Griffiths and Stiur are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Stiur Hockey is in early access. We may change, pause, or discontinue it at any time without notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Stiur Hockey — the application, the drill library, all session content, the design, and the Stiur name and marks — is owned by Charlie Griffiths (and, on incorporation, Stiur Ltd) and protected by copyright, trade mark, and other rights. The app is licensed for your personal and coaching use; it is not sold to you, and no intellectual property rights transfer to you.
